      The second one was "Plainsong" by the Cure, and to be honest, it was the entire album. It's an experience. I was in college, in my apartment, and my roommate put it on (as a record even, not a CD). youtube.com/watch?v=sd3TS1Wn6is

    Finally, a year or so ago, watching SNL on DVR (cuz I'm old now, sleep is good), and "Blinding Lights" by the Weeknd came on. I'd never heard of em and was not expecting the awesomeness I was about to hear. I *love* being surprised like this. youtube.com/watch?v=4NRXx6U8ABQ
